Hi peeps just wondering if they'll fit ? The wheels have offset front 37 and rear 39 with stock mSport ride height.

I can get a good deal on a set of tyres but don't want any scrubbing at all...
Also 245/35/19 on the front??

Has anyone fit these with other rims ?

I would suggest 275/30/19.

With OEM 359-style M3 wheels, I have slight rubbing on highway dips with 265/30/19. Stock sport suspension.

What width of wheels are you talking about? Generally 235/35-19 and 275/30-19 are the way to go.

Personally, I'd stick with 235/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear but max out at 245/275 for 8" and 9" wheel widths. Wouldn't think twice about going wider as I'm sure you know the risk of doing so.

Lol no. 245 is perfectly square on a 8'' wheel. Even with a tire that runs wide.

A 275 on the 9J rim is far too wide. The stock 255 already looks too 'balloony'. No need to fit wider as the grip is already perfectly adequate.

I don't know what you mean as the stock tyres look a bit stretched to me ? The grip isn't adequate either in my opinion

No it isn't. Typical fitment for a 275/30 is a 9-10" rim.
I ran a 235/35 on a 19x8.5 in the front with a 275/30 on a 19x9 in the rear.
I now run a 245/35 on a 19x9 in the front and a 235/30 on a 19x9.5 in the rear.

A 275 on a 9J is ridiculous. A 255 is nowhere near stretched. Not sure why you'd fit wider tyres to the front either. Your sidewall heights are all messed up too. Must look very odd.

No one asked about a 10J rim. What's that got to do with anything ? OP asked about a 9J MV4 rim.

LOL a 275 on a 9 is not even close to ballooned.

235/35-19 on 19x8.5 and 275/30-19 on 19x9. Nowhere near ridiculous. Wears even with full contact patch. And grip is still inadequate.

Still inadequate ? Maybe you have cheap tyres. Had a 275/30 been needed from the start Bmw would have fitted them, oh maybe you know better than them ?

Hi Daz, thanks for your contribution and I think your expertise is better suited to threads about people that want to keep their car stock. I'm clearly not one of those

Lol, I'm not sure if you're just not very knowledgable, a troll, or a wanker. Cheap? Not even close. As a matter of fact, my tires, according to Tire Rack are one of the best, coming in at #2 in the extreme performance summer tire ratings (Yokohama Advan Neova AD08R's)http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...ay.jsp?type=EP

Here's another little tidbit of information for you, the tires BMW equips everything but M cars with are huge compromises. If you knew this you'd know why M cars don't come with run-flats and you wouldn't be making the ridiculous posts that you are.

And lastly, get back to me when you're putting down 500whp and 550wtq and tell me how adequate your 255/whatever POS tires are.

I have 235/35-19 and 275/30-19 Kumho PS91 on 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 wheels. The tires are not "ballooned" at all.

The sidewalls on the rears are pretty much straight even, the fronts have a tiny amount of stretch.

(This photo is a before/after of my BMS 12mm spacers on the front but you get the idea with the tire stretch. Hardly any at all.)

The spec you want to look at when trying to figure how a tire will sit on a rim is the measuring rim width. This is the wheel width that will give you the actual tread section width specified in the tire size.

The measuring rim widths for 235/35-19 and 275/30-19 Kumho PS91 are 8.5" and 9.5" just like I have them mounted on.

Thanks for your contribution... What offset are the wheels with and without spacers ? Does it scrub at all ? Did you have to roll the guards? Sorry for the questions but that's exactly what I'm going for both for traction and looks ! Car looks awesome BTW
