Is this a FRM2?
Hi guys,
I'm trying to source some LCI outer tail lights for my car at the moment (2007 Pre-LCI 325D M Sport) I've found a pair that also include the below, is it a FRM2? If so, are they worth anything & is it any use to me? Just wondering if there's any benefit of paying £20 odd extra to have it and fit it to my car, will I gain anything from it? Cheers, Jordan |

You'll probably already have an FRM2 in your car. It would need to be coded to your car anyway, so no, in short!

You'll have an FRM2 if it's never been replaced.

If you have FRM2 you will be able to code or use welcome lights that come on when the car is unlocked, and also DRL's.
Since adding mine, it is now coded to have angel eyes on all the time, no matter if the light switch is set to off, auto or on. You can turn them off through the idrive if you want them off. Also got the thin line ones coded on the rears to be on at the same time, then if the auto dipped beam comes on the front then the full rears come on too. A word of warning, and Carly will warn you of it too, there have been instances where lots of coding of FRM2 has fried them, so decide how you want it and leave it like that without messing around |
