E93 Smooth Running Errors... HELP!!!
I have the following errors:
4DEB - smooth running regulator 4B10 - smooth running controller 4DD7 - diesel electronics: smooth - running regulator, cylinder 4 Initially I was having glow plug error 4A5E and glow plug cylinder 2, which was solved by changing the plugs and controller. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1265338 The car still vibrates on start up and not sure if I am over reacting but there seems to be a strong diesel burning smell. I then changed the injectors and had them programmed and was still getting there vibrations at idle and was getting the smooth runners errors above. I did have an alternator failure and managed to bring the car home by hooking up another battery. After this is when all the issues started. The glow plus issue was sorted after change the controller and plugs. I have googles this and it seems a failing camshaft sensor can cause injector issues and rough idle/vibration on start up. Hopefully someone may have come across this before possibly and would be able to help as it feels like I have done everything but still not getting anywhere. Just thinking can it be something as simple as the camshaft sensor that is causing me all these issues? Thanks in advance.
