Seattle

Was up in Seattle for work the last 3 weeks. What a cool town. Went to a Mariners Red Sox game, saw em throw a few fish at Pikes Market and got some killer tie dye tee shirts there as well, ate some amazing seafood, went to the Seahawks training camp, went sailing and watched the Blue Angels at Seafest.

And oh yeah visited the retail pakalolo shops to get some chocolates ... What a great town!

Glad you enjoyed your trip. Seattle is pretty awesome (in the summer at least).

btw, it is Seafair, not Seafest.

Best month is September. Weather in the upper 70's, all the tourists are gone and the Seahawks are back on the field. Oh and the Green retail is just the 'edible' icing on the cake.

Yeah I was there in April, it was sunny and in the 70's. I was so confused at how nice it was...it seemed like residents were too.

Don't miss the wall o' gum! The scent emanating from it during the warm days of summer is quite succulent!

Just go to leafy dot com. There are a bunch around, the shops are like boutiques, and you may find one more to your liking than another. Reviews are on that site as well.

And, YES, traffic blows chunks. Been gorgeous here for weeks though. People who complain of humidity here have never been on the east coast....

Hahaha. Humidity!

Keep in mind it is 6pm-ish in Seattle and 9pm-ish in Ft Myers. Humidity is in the little box of text to the right of the current temp.

Good travel spots for sure, but next time you hit up my home town, let me know! I can tell you where the locals go to (I've lived in CA for about 6 years now but I still have a home there) but thank you for enjoying your time while there!

I honestly feel Seattle is incredibly under appreciated until people go there for the first time. It's just such a different vibe from the rest of the country.

Where do you track out often? Or do you go all over?
