Show me your E90/1 splitters
I really think my E91 msport could do with a little more subtle attitude at the front, Ideally I'd like the OEM BMW carbon splitter extensions but that's £400. Anyone got any cheaper alternatives that they recommend ?

Thanks that's the sort of thing, mines a black car so might work in that finish or could get them painted. I'd like carbon ideally though !

I've been toying with the idea of getting some of these too, albeit for an E92, also black but I haven't found many pictures. I am worried they would just get lost with no contrasting colour to the bumper even if I went CF. They look great on white, red et.c. cars but I'm not sure about black.

These are the genuine carbon ones on a black E90. I love the look and the fact you can't see the carbon till you get closer.
I'd be paranoid about snapping them off on speed bumps or the like.

3 bmws and I can't see any of you using number plate holder. Interesting. Got myself pressed number plates and I am trying to find best way of fitting it without drilling. Tested number plate tape and it didn't work. Well work for a few days and I almost lost the plate.

Ok will try it. Do you use number plate holder (that genuine colour coded) or number plates are sticked straight to the bumper without anything between. Sorry all questions but I just painted the front I don't know what to do to get best plate fitment.

Holders suck, never look good especially on the front.
I use 3M Dualloc(?), plastic 'velcro' type thing, very strong, not the thinnest so the plates aren't quite flush, but never had an issue, means you can reposition them if they're not quite straight, remove to clean behind etc. |
