F8x M3/M4 19" (or 18") wheel fitment on E90/91 LCI

Hi all.

I currently run 19x8.5 ET32 front and 19x9.5 ET32 rear BBS CX-R's on my E91 LCI.

Tyre set up is 225/35/19 front and 255/30/19 Continental SportContact 6.

They are diamond cut, and winter is coming......

So, in the hope to keep them pristine, I am looking for some new 'winter' alloys.

Enter the F8x 640M or 641M alloys. Sizing is either 18" or 19" and offsets are 8.5j ET27 and 9j ET29 offset.

The rear will have 3.3mm less poke, so obviously I know that will fit!

The fronts are my only slight worry, as they will be sticking out 5mm more compared to my BBS.

The car is lowered 35mm on the front & 15mm rear.

Also, thoughts on 18" or 19"?

Current set up looks like this:

If you're getting wheels for winter use then deff go with 18" or even a different wheel in 17" wheels. Also winter tires work better in less wide sizes, as far as i know...

BTW the BBS's in the pics look awesomee. Super clean car. I have the same Brembo front brakes waiting to go on my car, black E92, and i think you convinced me on what color to make them. Thats the stock F30 sport package blue caliper color?

The problem I have is hardly any OEM 18" wheels clear the front brakes. The 370mm rotor causes issues!!

Hence my thoughts for F8x winters as they deffo clear the brakes (M3 is the identical caliper with 380mm rotor) and the offsets *probably* will work on E9x

Other F3x rims work, but the offsets suck & will need 20mm + spacers on the rear, which I wouldn't entertain.

17" wouldn't clear at all.

Yes these calipers are the 'M Sport Braking System' calipers as fitted to F3x models with the higher output engines (e.g 335i / 340i)

They are original finish - I bought them with delivery mileage (incl M Sport pads) & combined them with the M Performance rotor!

Thanks guys.

However, these are different to those pictures.

They have less aggressive offsets, so I guess it should work!
