How do you like the 135s?
At the BMW dealership I work at we've just receive a shipment of 135s and I must say they feel pretty nice and for the price tag at $42,000 fully loaded that's pretty good.
Here's some pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Is it really $42k loaded? That's not bad I guess.
Maybe this car will be like the scion xB when it first came out, everyone thought it was ugly and then it sold like hot cakes.

Thompson, eh? That's where I bought my 335xi. In fact, it's on its way right now.
Love the AW. Looks great on the 135.

I think they are extremely ugly as well, not to mention priced VERY close to the traditional BMW looking 3 series, and weigh only 200 pounds less. I know some people like them, but I'm not one of them.

Well its not terrible, but it just doesn't have the stunning looks of the 3. I get so many looks, probably cuz of the bright blue, nevertheless, the 3 just looks amazing. the 1 looks alright. P.S. I wonder how those wheels would look on a 3 sedan or 3 coupe?

They look a lot better in person. But I've only seen one, and am still undecided on how I feel about it.
I do wish they put the 1er dash in the 3er. It's a lot nicer, and more reminiscent of the e46 dash, imo. |

Horrible looking. Saw it in person while looking at the new M3, and didnt even look twice. It makes zero sense to me, how entry level BMW, costs more than the 3 series sedan and 328i coupe. I dont understand it at all.
To put it into perspective: the 135i price is like buying a 4gb iPhone, for the same amount as the 8gb iPhone..... Last edited by brandon @ eas; 03-28-2008 at 10:30 AM.. |

Alpine White is a good color for the 135.

as much as i love alpine white, i'd have to disagree. there are some lines that i really dislike on the 1-series, namely the curving line between doors/sideskirts, and aw tends to accentuate those body lines. personally, i think darker colors that hide these details work best for the 1, since its overall shape isn't bad. i prefer the 1-wagon myself though.

I want to love it....but i dont. Saw one in person the other day at the dealership with my girlfriend and she even said it was ugly. Still want to test drive one though. Looks like a really fun car either way

Pictures were taken with a Canon Rebel XT with the kit lens. I'm still trying to learn how to use the full capabilities of the camera but I believe I'm getting somewhere along those lines.
I'm not entirely sure on this but I believe the 135 does have the motor thats in the 335. |
