HDMI Input for CIC? Has anyone done this... HDMI to AV converter quality

Wondering if anyone has managed to get HDMI input for the CIC so you can connect any HDMI device up to it and use it through the screen say PS4 possibly.

You can get an inverter and make sure it won't overload the cig lighter (gauge of wire used in car for certain amperage).

Yes an inverter, I have one of these at home which I haven't used. I can wire it up to the car battery/fuse box.

I did have a look at similar products with AV inputs and was thinking I could use a HDMI to AV to get video on playback on the screen.
Would be good to know if anyone else has tried it and what the quality is like :/
