Hello,

I've tried this before but I'm looking for a shop who can do the DPF, DEF tank, EGR delete and put in the JR auto tune.

Location: Bay Area, CA but am willing to travel

You can only do the delete if you can "pass" the smog test with a trusted technician.

If youre in a smog area you'd need to keep the stock exhaust with gutter SCR and install a cat in the downpipe to have any hope of passing a smog check from a shop that you werent giving a bonus to.

With OBD2 smog check you can't fake it. Unless you know people who know people...

I'm not in smog area but I still got the catted dp and i think it does make a difference, it was 969 bucks from Buzzken on ebay, i have pics if you wanna see ... Also race pipe from Andrew Rodriguez to get rid of egr and cooler

Not true so far, the dad system doesn't seem capable of picking up the tune just yet, 100% without question it doesn't pick up the 2014 and newer ecodiesel delete tune. Monitors are all set in the dde so if you pass the visual you will pass the whole thing

Readiness state has nothing to do with visual inspection.
CEL is a fail, monitors not ready is a fail.

Im not sure what your point is. The monitors in the JR tune all set to ready, so the only reason you would fail at that point would be if you fail the visual.

when I inquired with BPC they did not have readiness however could.make it show N/A... imo and decent smogger would know that it's supposed to have the systems applicable. I asked BPC (in june) if they would be achieving the system ready in the near future and I was told no they had no intentions at that time. ultimately AA got my business.

I was told by Bob@BPC that the monitors will say ready now. Reached out to Randall to confirm.

edit: He confirmed yes.
