Hey folks, new guy here, and completely illiterate when it comes to wheels, so bear with me:

I currently have installed on my 2007 328i Sedan the stock Type 156 wheels.
They are 16 x 7 ET34 on 205/55/16

I am debating on doing a conversion to some TSW Volcanos I've had in my garage for some time, and have been unable to sell, so I figure, why not, if it's worth it.

The dimensions for those are 19 x 7 ET40 (I personally calculated 42mm by measuring from the outsides of the lips) with the wheels and the tires would either be 215/35/19 OR 225/35/19. They have a 76mm bore, I believe (not 100% about this one), and a 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern.

I understand I will need some wheel adapters. I found these online:

They convert from BMW 5x120mm bolt pattern and 72.5mm bore to 5x114.3 bolt pattern and 73.1mm bore. They are also 15mm thick, so that would subtract 15mm from the offset, I presume?

My question: will I run into any problems with this setup? According to the calculator on this site, after subtracting the 15mm offset from the wheel,and simulating 215/35/19 tires, it gave me these readings:

"4mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 22mm"

And:

"Original Tires Diameter (in.): 24.88
New Tires Diameter (in.): 24.93
Difference in diameter (in.): 0.047
Percent Difference: 0.19%"

Also, if no problems present themselves, will the ride quality suffer much? Will I run into high risk of denting and/or cracking the rims on potholes and bumps?

Any tire recommendations, preferably those with strong/stiff sidewalls, etc?

Finally, how will the TPMS system fare with the new wheels and tires? Can I place the stock sensors in them and expect them to work properly, despite possible differences in tire pressure standards?
