Good deal on injectors
Advance Auto has injectors in stock for $138/injector.
Here's the link http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/g...oes/10740508-P These things are never in stock so I was surprised to see them back in stock. |

I have not. The last injectors I bought were from O'Reilly and they were just like all the other injectors sold. It seems like there's only 1 manufacturer of these injectors as all the brands look the same and come in pretty similar packaging.

Good deal. I noticed this on the website: When replacing injector, requires (1) 13 53 7 564 751 decoupling element and (1) 13 53 7 584 315 injector seal.
Will not having these items be a problem/cost? |

You should be able to easily get the decouplers at your local dealership. They should have plenty in stock and they're about the same price as you'd find them anywhere else.

Also, advance auto sells oem parts, I've ordered from them before, the product came in bmw packaging. For this price, I have no idea what version injector these can be. Last edited by pits200; 08-31-2016 at 02:21 PM.. |

these for 138 are not new. i ordered 6 and all are remanufactured, they have some grease at the top and you can tell the connecter has been plugged before. i think im going to return them.

they are all index 12, i didn't need them but figured id buy a set to keep in reserve for that price. last summer i needed 2 and got them from rockauto for 123 but they were brand new fj1050 from standard motors. i have 4 index 11 and 2 index 12 in my car right now. ill post some photos later tonight when i get home.

So there is no risk with these injectors. We are simply avoiding the BMW tax and mark up. BMW dealers sell these with a huge mark up. I think the dealer wants in excess of $240 Each. I've found them as little as $215 each from an authorized bmw dealer. I got the same ones on rock auto about a year ago for about $110-115 each. This $138 price is a fair deal for new injectors these days. Supposedly Re-Man injectors are going for $450-500 for all 6. I'm not a fan of the re-man'd injectors as I heard people have trouble coding them since the flow numbers are no longer accurate which is crucial to operate efficiently. I could be wrong on this last bit so if anyone has further experience feel free to chime in. Hope this helps! |
