It has been quite a while since Aston Martin teased us with an illustration, but now we have the first full blown pictures of the Vantage GT2. - completing the British Manufacturer's portfolio of GT race cars: GT1, GT2, GT3 and GT4. The latest car from Aston Martin Racing has been designed to be run on both standard fuel and E85 bio-ethanol fuel thanks to the successful conversion of the DBRS9 last year further enhancing Aston Martin's green credentials.
No further details have been released yet ahead of its debut in the Le Mans Series at Barcelona on 5th April but we'll keep you posted as soon as the information comes through.

I like the wheels! Very similar to the ALMS M3. The fenders are also nice too.

AM uses the bright lips to identify their cars. They use colors like lime green and bright orange for instance.

lol are you guys serious? I mean, about commenting about the looks of the vehicle?
These drivers could careless about what you think what looks like this and that on their cars... plus, they'll be covered in another teams colors and sponsor vinyl. If it's not functional, its gone. Now, I'm lazy but is this Vantage competing as a GT2 class car? I assume it is since someone above me said something about it competing with Porsches. |

the DBR9's are painted in a deep British Racing Green, yet they sported neon yellow and red trim when they debuted. did you dislike those when they first appeared?
