XI - 19" CH tire size

So I think I'm leaning towards 19x8.5f et30 / 19x9.5r et40 CH's

I've seen a few posts with people who've gotten the same size wheels with these tire sizes:

235/35/19, 265/30/19

235/35/19, 275/30/19

245/35/19, 275/30/19

What do you think I should go with?

This is the closest match for diameters front and rear. Use the calculator up top.

The others are fairly close too, but I don't know how much difference the xi differential can take for varying sizes. I hear that they are susceptible to failure if they are off by a little (but that is just Internet hearsay on my part).

i've heard that as well so i went with non staggered 19x8.5 all around just to be safe.

2nd is the closest match. but will rub if lowered.

Well, it's difficult to say for sure, but you will a much better chance that it won't rub if you rolled you fenders. I'd say it'd give you a maximum of 8-10mm in clearance if you rolled your fenders.

You can run the second easily. There's absolutely space for 275s. But I think, wouldnt you want to run 19x8.5 all around with maybe 245s on a xi?

245's are a little too wide imo, 235 35 19 all around is optimal on 19x8.5 all around.

Not necessarily, it depends on the tire brand. 245/35 & 235/35 are both measuring rims for 8.5x19.

go with 235/35/19, 275/30/19 and roll your fenders ...

I have 245/35/19 in the front and thinking to switch over to 235 ...
Rear's will be ok with the rolled fenders ...

I really don't think 275/30 on ET 40 will rub.

go with the 235-35-19, 275-30-19's nice staggered look and this is the closest match for the front and rear diameters. I'm actually running 19X10.5 in the rears with 275/30/19 but than again my cars a sedan.
