difference between heat wrapped and non DP's?

What are the difference between having heat wrapped catless DP's (Ultimate racing) and having just regular ones.. other than lower temps and being more $$, and major advantages??

I wrapped mine only because I had the wrap, but there really is no real benefit except for the heat.

Wrap just helps keep the heat in the pipe instead of radiating inside the engine bay.

So non wrapped dont have a higher chance or cracking or anything?

but I think I confused some people, with the "heat wrapped".. but none-the-less the coated should provide the same "advantage"??
how much are the materials for a DYI heat wrapping?
