Low fuel pressure MDH log
can someone look over my log? i just replaced my lpfp with an oem unit. My old one was getting down to the high 30's 40's on map 2.
Looks like i'm at 70's with a low of 65 in some spots and slight timing corrections. can someone advice. Also it looks like i'm not reaching target psi can anyone shine some light on that i don't believe i have a boost leak. thanks http://www.datazap.me/u/supra2k6/sta...og=0&data=4-21 FBO, inlets, no IC.stage 2 aggressive map 93 Also i've been searching but i can't find the difference between new v5,v6,v7 maps? Everything looks perfect. A dip or 2 in the 60's is no concern so as long as the average is near 70.
Best thing to do with maps is drive them, it's mostly feel. V7 seem to be the smoothest overall. V5 tend to be more aggressive on the punch and tip in but both are overall same power up top. I do recommend staying with the latest maps but some people prefer the feel of older maps. |

As another member mentioned, unless you can splash in some E85, you'll be chasing your tail on a few corrections. |

I saw my IAT's go up so yeah i really do need a FMIC but since its going to be winter here i was hold ing off on it.
I saw my corrections between 2-3 degrees is that bc of the IAT (keep in my i never do back to back pulls and usually wait for the car to cool less heatsoak. I guess i'll switch to stage 2 91 oct map and pull if i'm pulling too much timing. I also feel the car is running rich. Thanks everyone! |

Maybe i should replace boost solenoids from what i read there is an old and new version. I'll check my plugs this weekend and check the condition. Last edited by Supra2k6; 09-21-2016 at 11:04 AM.. |

Try with a milder tune, or with a few gals of e85. The corrections look ugly. Even Shell 93 oct isnt always the best quality. I've seen the quality vary quite a bit. That said, you should not be seeing that much correction.

Go down a stage on the tune or get some E85 or race gas. Lots of guys forget race gas (100 octane unleaded) is a good band aid too, especially when E85 isn't available locally. |

Something tells me that if he wasn't ~30* over ambient, there wouldn't be nearly as many corrections; even with the same tank of fuel. |
