So I got my car dyno'd today
I'm ending the line of what I want to do to my car, unless my turbo's blow up then i'll get RB's, but for now this is it. I would like to get an NLS/FFS but I'm either looking at a wot box or switch to jb4 unless cobb comes out with it for the bmw (sadly, they have it for those wrx things but not our cars).
I did some research on the web and youtube as well as talking to the guys there about numbers they're used to seeing for similarly equipped cars, and they said this was about on par with others. This is an AWD car so, although I have all the traction i'll ever need, I lose just a tad bit more HP at the wheels. I was honestly hoping for around 380+ hp at the wheels, but this isn't far off, around 365ish plus it's hot today, 90's. But, what suprised me, was the torque! I wasn't expecting to make more than like 400 lb's of torque. Very pleased with that, since that's what accelartes the car and with the AWD that's a great combination. i was also a little suprised it started falling off so early, it feels like it's still pulling to around 6200. It seems to have a nice flat torque curve. |

I'm guessing stage 2 map with DPs, FMIC, and intakes (i.e., traditional FBO).

HI guys, just now checking the forum.
Yep that's exactly what I have, vrsf catless down (my only option for an xi), cobb stage 2+, drop in air filter (kind of wondering if I need a dual cone because hp falls off a little earlier than I thought it would) and cobb intercooler. No meth, don't plan on ever doing that. I do however reeeeally want nls/ffs capability. Trying to decide between switching to jb4, or doing a wot box. Any thoughts? |

As for the DCI, you'll get more noise but don't expect an increase in power. I'm in DFW with a similar setup and didn't gain anything from the DCI. I've thought about selling them. |

I suggest inlets and MHD with custom tune. Easy 415-435! Looks solid though and if your enjoying it that's all that matters!
I had the same set up at one time.
