Springs question

I have little experience with suspension upgrades and have a dumb question that I could not find an answer to - at 132k miles on the original springs, is there any reason to replace them? I don't want to lower the car from its current ride at all due to its my daily driver and crappy Chicago winters. I'm looking To replace my shocks and struts with bilstein b6 hd soon and am trying to figure out if there's any reason to replace the springs.

Its a 2007 e92 335 with 132k miles on the stock original suspension, stock oem springs - not the yellow m-sport Bmw performance springs, just the regular springs that came on the 335i coupe with sport package.

unless are damaged, cracked or broken...you should be good. I don't actually know if the B6s are OEM replacement for the sport suspension pkg or for lower setups, that would be the only thing to look at.

Thanks - yes, the correct bilsteins seems to be debatable on here...I'll continue researching.

B6 are correct for the base springs and give a nice improvement over the base dampers.

I personally prefer Koni yellows to Bilstein B6s but no, there should be no reason to replace the springs. Good luck!
