Any pictures of E92 tinted/blacked out tail lights?

I just got my 2008 335i coupe saphire black and want to tint/black out the tail lights. Do any of you have pictures of before and after. My CLS55 AMG's tail lights are blacked out but i did that at a body shop and they actually took out the tail lights and painted and clear coated them.

I have seen some mention of lamin-x and xpel film/tint type material that can be used. Any info, pics or input appreciated.

Yeah, it would look better with the smoked look instead of fully blacked out gangster.

Wow, that looks hotttttt. I just ordered mine. I think it will look great with the saphire black and the Beyern Baroque black wheels i got.

I love the blacked out look on black cars. Here is my CLS55 that has the Lowenhart black centers with chrome lips and blacked out all around.

Yeah, in some places, I think it might be illegal here but my Cobra's tail lights are blacked out and I've never had any trouble. My tint is also 5% where the limit is 32%, and my exhaust is far too loud, but I guess our cops around here are pretty cool.

I'll definitely look into doing this when I get my Jet Black 335. I love the blacked out look. (except rims, I really don't like black rims on black cars)

Looks REALLY sharp on the AW too though!

Yes, but so it Tint on your front windows in California. Doesn't stop anyone.

There's tint laws in Phoenix AZ as well but no one follows them, including me. I have 5% all around and have for many years and never been bothered. Police seem to understand it's bloody hot here and they don't care.

There's no function except it looks better to smoke your tail lights so I was curious if it was illegal. Have the cops bothered anyone who's had it done?

No problems here with cops, I've had 3 cars with tinted tails.

the cars above have what - 5% tint on them? This isn't something I want to do myself - who would I talk to about doing it? A tint guy I doubt would do all this and a body shop guy I doubt does tint.

Ask a Clearbra installer or Tint installer.

I did something less drastic, just tinted the reverse strips!

Its a roof overlay by Bluebatmobile.net

Its precut, only requires placing on a clean roof and wah lah. a Nice clean agressive stance to your E92.

Hes a good guy, very good pricing for any of your vinyl needs.
