HDD Nav in Japan only?

Do any other countries have BMW HDD navigation?

Here's a couple of pics of my stock BMW HDD navigation system. I wonder if those of you who have DVD nav could download it onto this. It frees up your DVD drive (not that it'll play DVDs).

Sorry it's fuzzy.

the map displays would be good for starters. other than that, we here in the U.S. don't really know what else is cool about it but we do know that the US nav SUCKS and can be embarassed by pretty much any $150 pocket nav device. so anything else you think is impressive.

we can't have tv either, so show that too...

The unit is in the boot under the mat. The TV function doesn't work while the car is in motion, doesn't matter though because the reception is rubbish anyway.

I'll try to get some pics of it during GW.

Some companies in Japan have amazing 3-D maps, BMW's 3-D map is not one of them. It's good enough though.
