frm3 max brose showing shorts

I have a 2008 E92 335xi just bought it a few months ago,but my angel eyes dont work and i have both front parking lamp malfunctions on my idrive. i took my car to a coder and i didnt notice before that i have lci tail lights.

anyways... he hooked up inpa and reset the 9cbb short circuit counter. but the angel eyes only worked for like a second upon searching its showing shorts for:

both fog light
left low beam light
both high beams
rear brake lights

so i checked the frm and i have the frm3 max brose,he also reset it and set to default an still nothing, all my lights work except the angel eyes, ahl, high beams, fogs, blinkers, brake, and rear fogs all work perfectly, yet its showing shorts. I just want to get my angel eyes to work, i looked over the wires and they dont seem to be touching would a faulty frm cause this. can i just switch to a frm2 and still have all the same functions?
can coding fix this

Have you actually checked the angel eye bulbs? Are they stock bulbs or aftermarket?l

Did the coder just clear the fault codes with inpa or actually reset the short circuit counter in tool32?

Yes used stock and after market bulbs and its still showing faults. It was reset short circuit counter when back to zero, faults reappeared within 1 minute.

In that case I'd check the wiring and connectors.

Was the FRM3 ever properly coded to the car? As in the proper FA was written to the FRM3 and default coded?

A 2008 should have come with FRM2, so the FRM3 had to have been retrofitted. It's possible they never coded it correctly to begin with.
