Will this Work?

I just did an AT to MT swap but getting a dsc code so my question is if i were to grab the dsc file from my donor car(MT) and install it into the swapped car(AT dme) can that be done?

DSC for MT and AT is the same no?

What code do you have?

Likely DSC just needs to be reset with ISTA-D then steering angle recalibrated.

First you'll have to recode car. Delete the $205 entry in your FA (VO) string then code to default the relevant modules.

Depending on what transmission you have installed you may need to add $206 (SMG) or $207. Double check this though.

Use NCSEXPERT for the above.

Then, if you have DSC faults use ISTA-D to run the service functions to calibrate steering angle sensor and adjust DSC.

We were able to do the steering angle but nothing with the dsc can you give me a little direction as to how to even find it in insta then do what. Forgive me for my ignorance but I can and all my work but when it comes to coding I'm dead in the water. We were also able to plug in the donor mt car DME so what we're thinking is possible just transfer files to my modules from donor car? Will that work?

I Cldnt find 207 but there is a 1207 is that the same ?

I've checked his coding and it looks fine,
the error he has is somehow related to pt-can
(errors on this screens are related to low battery, the error i mentioned is not shown here)

but his pt-can connection is correct,
so right now im out of ideas

Hi,

So, these fault codes seems to all point to low voltage / battery problem. What is the voltage showing as with engine off? I recommend charging the battery now. Then clearing the codes.

If as you say coding is correct then that's fine. So AT has been removed from VO and car codes to default? Also code DSC to default then perform the DSC service functions in ISTA.

Also, are you sure there is no 205 entry in your VO? Has it already been removed?

Be sure to code to default: CAS/FRM/KOMBI/DSC/DME
