I find it hard to drive cheap cars now... I grew up in a pretty poor family and didn't really have my own car until I got my first job after college.
Anyways earlier this year I was on vacation and rented a 2016 Camry and it just felt terrible... Actually I ve been feeling that during my last few vacations in the US (where I had to drive). Anyways, going on vacation next month and I am renting an MB (or whatever they have at the moment I guess)... So I feel better driving. Ya you do get used to nicer things and it's hard to go back. |

Acura RSX-S 2002 for 3 years during school. I beat the living shit out of it, drove it with no oil for 30k miles to school and back for 1 hour 3 days a week... it still turned on every morning, never left me stranded, cheap as hell on gas. Paid 3k for it, sold it 2500. Without a doubt, best car I will ever own considering how mistreated it was and how "cheap" it was.

Half the soccer moms/dads in the lot drive more expensive cars. To answer the question with a question, does my $1,000 VW count? Aren't you glad you're back?? |

"Yes, also cheap women. Like your mom."
The only proper reply to such a question.

I drive a Camry in the winter with snow tires. So no, i still drive "cheap cars" and i'd say the worst thing about it is how slow it is. On ramp its floored, merging its floored, anywhere i go just about. My BMW at least has 500whp whenever i need it.

Each and every one of us has a diffrent view of what cheap is.. Those who own a M4 and paid 70k for it, and decided let me buy a cheap car for 20k see it differently than that person who bought a 20k car and says let me buy a cheap car for 5k

I think the cheapest car that I could happily drive would probably be something like an '09 335i.... u can buy one for prob $13k now. It's RWD, luxurious enough and is fun to drive...
Anything E90 era right now, outside of M3 is really cheap imho. |

Wife has a 16 plate Ford KA. The cost of the car new with the pcp interest was less than the final payment on mine.
Honestly though I quite enjoy driving it. Small cars are good fun, you can push them to their limits without having to get up to ridiculous speeds |

I have a Ford Fusion. It drives very well and is a welcome break from the attention whore (i8).
