E92 325d suspension kit
Looking for some advice from the gurus on here and people with experience of my situation.
Basically my shocks are long overdue replacing as they're weeping and also very soft and make hissing noises when I go over bumps As a result I'm looking for a good spring and dampener kit that will also cure the issue of the front axel being on stilts. I don't fancy coilovers as I think they'll be too stiff and too low Not very often that the cars driven hard so leaning more towards comfort than performance Upon having a browse myself I came across the koni STR.t set up with the h&r sport springs which they claim lowers front 50 rear 25 so assuming that's for SE suspension it would nicely lower the front 30mm roughly and the rear by 5/10mm Has anyone used this suspension kit and how does it ride? Would I also be better of replacing front and rear drop links also? Sorry for 10,000 questions and thanks in advance |

I've used the Koni shocks previously on a different car and thought they were very good. I ran them with Eibach springs though which are a touch softer than the H&Rs. I've run H&Rs too again on a different vehicle with the standard dampers and again didn't think they were too bad. Some say H&Rs can be a bit too harsh but I certainly didn't find that.
I definitely think the koni's are a good choice and think the H&Rs should be good too.

Thanks for the replies guys. Done a bit more reasearch from what I could find online and most seem to approve the koni h&r set up. So finally decided to pull the trigger ... there's now a shortage of koni stock in the U.K. For suppliers and sellers. Just my luck

The bilstein B12s are good. Will probably give a drop of 10mm at the front over the m-sports. Much better ride quality and a lot less crashy
