Glow Plug Controller
I can get to it without taking the intake off. I can't get the rectangle plug off to save my life. Do you squeeze on the tabs on the plug or pry them out?

I'm soon in the same boat. Twice now over the last two weeks I've got glow plug code 4a2e.
Perhaps you could do a short diy? Thanks. |

I think a good upgrade would be to remote the glow plug controller to a more accessible location.
On my M-B it was mounted above the wheel well. You could unplug the controller and check the resistance of each plug without having to pull the plugs. |

Intake Manifold is easy enough to pull I figure it would be worth it to get to the controller. I can have one off in about twenty minutes now.

Got it that night...my fingers took days to recover. I think I used a flat blade screwdriver to assist. Once you get the plugs the rest is cake.
