Key fob dead
So today I tried going to work and went to unlock my 2010 328i but quickly noticed my key fob wouldn't unlock my car. After starting the car I also noticed my settings were all reset. First question is it safe to assume my key fob battery has died? question number two is it hard to replace the battery in the key fob diy capable? And question number 3 if anyone else has experienced this can I get some feedback or if it might be something else ? Thanks guys

Same thing happened to me. I have yet to solve the problem but i measured the voltage of the battery which was 2.3v, which is still good and higher than the replacement battery so i decided not to desolder it. Thankfully i have a spare.
