M shifter and M brake handle

Hi All,

Does anybody know where I can be the M shifter and M brake handle (perforated leather) in the UK?

I have done a fair bit of searching and found only the shifter.

Got mine from ebay.de as a "kit" - http://stores.ebay.de/BMW-Autohaus-B...QQftidZ2QQtZkm

What I didn't realise was that as the M-Knob included the gaitor, the LHD version doesn't fit the RHD. What can I say? I ordered it before I got the car...

Luckily, with a bit of slicing, the knob comes off the gaitor and fits in place of the stock knob.

Edit: Useful German Words:

Schaltknauf - gear knob
Leder Manschette - Leather Gaitor
Handbremsgriff - Handbrake Grip
Auspuffblende - Exhaust Tip

Anyway.

The difference between perforated leather and normal leather is that perforated leather has perforations on it and the normal leather, doesn't.

The perforated leather is what they have on the M-Sport Steering wheel and gear knob, and the M-Sport handbrake grip.

So next time I'm in Germany, if I want to say Grip Knob Tip the translation would be "Griff Knauf Blende"?

You're not far off actually - it's 'Griff-Knopf-Tipp'.

At the risk of straying on topic I would just add to Paul's recommendation. Cotswold have always been good with the bits that I've bought from them... like the bits and bobs in my Sig.
