does anyone know of any open drag/race tracks in south florida, near like boca raton or Fort Lauderdale? If you could post the name and where their located/prices that would be amazing.

i think there is one in miami. and moroso. i have gone from ft. lauderdale to mororso before and it takes a good 45 minutes. im not sure where the other one is. but moroso is probably your best bet.

moroso in west palm beach is the one i've been to. it's about 45 minutes from boca. i don't know how much it is but it probably has info on their website.

you gotta go wednesday. i believe its open track night wednesday AND friday or saturday. i dont remember which. but on the weekend its PACKED. so go on wednesday. its not a lot. 15-20 bucks. if you go wed you should be able to get 3-5 maybe 6 runs in. on a saturday, 3 if you are lucky. just double check their site, and quadruple check the weather. if you drive alllllllll the way down there and its raining, they arent gonna give you your money back, they give you a free pass to come back, then you have to drive alllllll the way home, and then allllll the way back to use your free pass. and it could be raining again. have fun. drive safe.
p.s. the ride TO moroso is jinxed. soo drive extra safe. you will get pulled over, or have car trouble on the way there. its destined, its a jinxed. happened ever time i went.

i went 2-3 times, and it was horrible both times. keep in mind, i was going with like a 1994 civic hatch, and a kid with a suspended liscence. it was so long ago, that i dont even remember the story. the cop pulled one of us over, so we all pulled over right behind the cop. the cop was REAL cool, he was gonna let one of us drive our friends car away, since my friend had a suspended lisence "and didnt even know it" the problem was we had 4 people. 3 cars. 2 autos, and 2 people that didnt know how to drive stick. so it was impossible. after like 20 minutes the cops where like, we are gonna drive away now, after we drive away, YOU cant let your friend drive this car on a suspended lisence, but since we wont be here anymore to watch you guys, it doesnt really matter. hint hint. dont get pulled over again. hint hint. suprisingly cool cops. then like 2 in rained. then i ran a 14.6 in my tl-s. fun times.

moroso? i heard from another forum that their track is not very well, also, i heard that they get alot of oil spills and they dont like to clean it up.
Anyways ill still go....iif anyone is going to go soon tell me when can have a little track meet. I have a friend with an s2000 who will come at at any time with me to the track...BTW dont you have to be 18 to track?

i have never heard of anything bad happening at moroso. actually, they seem to be VERY VERY safe and precatious. and a great track. i think they are like a very well known, famous track. maybe thats just cause its the closest one. i dunno.

cd heaven I recently got my windows tinted, 20 all around and a 30 on the whole windsheild. its dark enough..now i cant imagine your 5 all around and 30 on the windsheild (id like it though)

yes. you have to be 18 to run. i dont remember how exactly the enforcce it. or what. but yes, you are suppose to be 18 to go down the track.

I read the website, it says if you are under 18 you need a wavier signed by a guardian. Not a big deal.

are we talking about their drag strip or their actual Road course, honestly i could care less about dragging. Is it wedsnesdays that they have open track night on the road course?!?

the track would be awesome. as far as i know, its a lot more complicated to get on the track. i dont think they have open track nights, i think you need a liscense. im not too sure. but the drag is fun, and cheap, and easy.

i might be in the market to get my competition license....maybe later on...but i dont want to drag my car, tracking is my only means of a good time.Baller if you go track somewhere in florida make sure to give me heads up because ill go anywhere!
