BMW Navigation Maps 2017

For those, like me, that have their lifetime FSC and are after the 2017 maps, I found these links. The site is nothing to do with me and I can't verify they all work but I'm downloading the Europe West Premium 2017-1 at the moment.

Thats for OEM nav.
You have to check in your dynavin as what maps / navigation app they use and update it accordingly.

Links given in the original posts website work perfectly. Upgraded today to the CIC Premium Europe West 2017-1 (I used the 1 x 32gb USB rather than 3 x USB version)

What would happen if I tried to install these and don't have a lifetime FSC?

What do I need to do in order to get these to work with my 02/2010 build car with CIC Professional Nav?

I currently don't have full postcode search either.

I have just had a Combox fitted too, but the car needs hooking up to an ICOM to update the firmware, will the firmware update also be needed to allow maps upgrade?

There is no harm in downloading it and inserting the loaded usb to glove box usb socket.

If your cic support maps update via usb then it will ask for fsc code.

By doing so, You will know that you can update it though it will not give you 7 digits code.

If you are mate of wibbles then I am sure that he is buying an Icom. And you'll have updated cic soon as he knows what he is doing.

It will not update anything.
Check the second response and ask if Simon can provide you life time fsc code.

Thanks!

Yeh, Craig has done lots for me so far, the biggest of which was the Individual Audio Upgrade!

For 7 didgit postcode, will that be present once the CIC is flashed with the ICOM?

Yes, you should be able to have 7 digits postcode after cic flash. You may have to update the maps as well as I am under the impression that pre- 2009 maps do not support 7 digits postcode. But then I have not personally tested old maps.

my 59 plate 135 with CIC had maps with 7 digits input but then again it had the right firmware for free BMW Apps. I need your help with the CIC flash when my icom turns up.

updating old maps

Hi, I am newbie here...
My maps are many years old ...2009 and I want to update to current maps. Is it safe to update all the way to 2017 /2? Anybody has tried skipping years?
I have CIC in my E91.

Yes you can go straight to 2017. Only thing you need to check that you can update maps via USB. Early CIC systems could only be updated via DVD's.

Does anyone know if you can make a DVD from the new map update files and how...in case USB does not work. I know USB works for other things like loading up music on the HD.

the 3x USB version is marked as "3-USB/DVD", if I remember correctly there are 3 ISO's in there, never tried it but I guess you can burn 3 DVDs from those and update that way - I'd download the 3x USB/DVD version then try the USB method first, would be far faster than DVD and will confirm if you can take USB installs for future reference (then can get the 1x USB version next time for even less hassle). If not you can burn the DVDs without needing to download a different version. Just make sure you user the USB slot in glove box for the map update. Ps yes you can go straight to 2017, helped someone recently who updated from 2008 -> 2017-2 in one go (check if you have the 'tick on i' shown in map view, if so should be good to go with USB update method...)

Got it . Thanks for all the support. I made the 1st USB and plugging it in the glovebox USB port the system wanted to shut down nav and start updating. I should be good as long as I can roundup an FSC. Cheers!
