Stock vs Lux 5.0 and Lux 4.0 vs 5.0 pics

Well, I know that a lot of people want to see the difference between the two. Well, last week I had both Lux 4.0 and Lux 5.0 on the same car. Here are the pictures:

The first one is stock on the left, and lux 5.0 on the right.
The second picture is Lux 4.0 on the left and Lux 5.0 on the right.

(And before you ask, no I do not have any with the headlights on. Sorry.....)

I decided to keep 4.0, but would have been just as happy with 5.0!!!

it seems like lux4 is bluer and lux5 is slightly whiter. nice comparison pics...

and yeah... i actually like the amber... matches well with the amber on the blackline taillights and front panel's signal lights.

yeah, I have 3.0 and i think they're even more blue than the 4.0, I wanted the white look when i ordered the 3 but I don't think I'll go through the trouble of upgrading.

No, I did not. The main difference is color, and that was less evident when the headlights were on. When it was just the AE's, then you could see the difference as shown in the pictures above. But as far as brightness, to my eye, - dare I say it - the brightness was about the same.

I'll agree it is a bit hard to see the brightness difference, especially because the color difference. But LUX 5 is brighter then LUX 4, i've done a bunch of installs and you can see the difference on them all
