Propshaft donut replacement
Hi all,
Had my vehicle inspected last time it was at the indy, just wanted peace of mind that I knew if anything needed replacing soon. One item that got flagged was at some point in the future I'd need the propshaft donut replacing. Got me thinking, funny name, what is it? What's it used for? It is used to reduce vibrations from torque transfer from gearbox to diff. When it is fooked, you generally experience shudder on take off, droning, thump when changing gears, etc...Quite an interesting piece of design it is.
