1st Gear Judder
I am suffering (still) an occasional judder in first gear. I have had the clutch plate and bearing replaced but has made no difference.
anyone any thoughts? Thanks |

I assume this is at slow speed when starting up from a stop?
Could check engine and transmission mounts. If they are worn the extra movement could cause a back and forth resonance at low speeds. You could also try altering your driving style to give a little more throttle and a slower clutch release. Sometimes I get a "chatter" or "lugging" in the drivetrain if I give it too much clutch too soon and try to throttle through it. |

Hope you had the DMF replaced at the same time as your clutch as it's the most likely cause...
