1st Gear Judder

I am suffering (still) an occasional judder in first gear. I have had the clutch plate and bearing replaced but has made no difference.

anyone any thoughts?

I assume this is at slow speed when starting up from a stop?

Could check engine and transmission mounts. If they are worn the extra movement could cause a back and forth resonance at low speeds.

You could also try altering your driving style to give a little more throttle and a slower clutch release. Sometimes I get a "chatter" or "lugging" in the drivetrain if I give it too much clutch too soon and try to throttle through it.

Hope you had the DMF replaced at the same time as your clutch as it's the most likely cause...
