Exhaust shop recommendation.

Hi guys,

Can anyone recommend an exhaust place around the Doncaster area or east (melb, VIC) to weld on new exhaust tips?

For those who have had them done, what price should I be expecting to pay?

My ebay ricer 4inch tips have just turned up

and yes, there's a small ding there..

Did mine at dandy exhaust. Wouldn't recommend them for anything that needs a good eye like alignment of tips. My ///M logo is still a little off after they tried to align it. If it's just welding tips on don't think it should cost too much. Peter did his whole exhaust system plus tips for $400 so would be definitely less than that there. Interested to know if you found a good place

Will do! If I find a good place.

Actually tempted to get one of those fleabay $170 gas-less mig jobbies and have a go myself. After practicing on scrap first of course..

Might be abit out of the way for you, but Exhaust World in North Melbourne are quality and VERY reasonably priced. You can check out their reviews on google, thats what swayed me to them and they didnt disappoint. They did my straight pipes and quad tips for $300 - thats parts, including supply of quad tips, and labour!!! They actually initially quoted me $330 but cos it took them less time than they anticipated, they only charged me $300 in the end. Pure awesome blokes

LOL I used dandy exhaust for my mugen twinloop exhaust on my DC2R like 10 years ago and it sounds like they are still the same.

I just needed them to weld the exhaust on and they legit fkd it up and was misaligned badly. I took it back and got them to redo it and they did but it was one hell of a terrible weld job in the aftermath.

Do not recommend them but they are cheap...

Keyboard is running cherry blues, so not really the hardcore twitch gamer type.
Unfortunately my steam pile of shame is waay too big

Bit OT but I actually enjoy putting together the rig more than the gaming nowadays...

Glenroy exhaust x2. They've been around forever and I have had positive experiences. Forgot the owners name but his sons run it now.

Dandy isn't cheap. Did my exhaust for $900 excluding the tips. Stainless steel 2.5" setup if I remember correctly.

Tips alignment wouldn't be much I assume.. They are quite reasonable in price hence why I mentioned them.

Dropped by Exhaust World in nth Melb. Did the tips there and then.

Standard tips looking a bit lost in the diffuser..

Much better

They did a great job for less than $100.
Can recommend.
