Rear o2 sensor pre-cat access

How do people get to this? Seems like only way I can even get a wrench or o2 socket on it is right after the PS rack.

stubby 22mm wrench, break it loose then unscrew by hand.

If you get the right angle a regular 22mm wrench in there to break it loose. You can unbolt the steering rack and shift it forward to get a little more room to get your arm in there.

Yep. Remove the passenger side bolt on the steering rack and loosen the driver side bolt. That will allow the rack to move forward a few inches on the passenger side to give you room. Remove the heat shield above the rack on the passenger side.

I use a standard 3/8" ratchet with an offset O2 socket to break them loose and then unthread by hand, as stated.

You will struggle for hours if you don't unbolt the PS rack a bit - it won't affect your alignment. Someone already posted a DIY for this:

so I just got done putting in the new sensor. I did remove the passenger side bolt for the PS rack even with that i got big forearms so it was a PITA. Routing the new cable around the back of the engine was a pain also. Broke one of the harness clips.

I got rid of the O2 sensor code but now I have misfire codes in cyl 4,5,6. Next is new spark plugs.
