Euro Delivery on an M3?
The M3 forum has no answers, so I figured I'd check here. (It's an E92, also, though.) I know that BMW doesn't discount M cars for ED, but has anyone tried to work with a dealer to get an M3 below M.S.R.P.? Unlike regular models, BMW DOES take an ED M3 from a dealer's allocation, so that takes away negotiating power, too. Some dealers are starting to break through M.S.R.P. on inventoried M3s, but I'm curious if anyone got significantly lower by trying an ED. Thanks for any info.

As you point out, if you do ED on an M3, it comes out of dealer allocation. There is no special pricing for getting an M3 via ED, so why would a dealer give you (or anyone) a discount

It seems like some dealers are already marking down M3s, and one told me that his allotment has already been increased. A dealer with excess capacity should be willing to discount a bit further, as they never have to take the car into inventory. I'm not looking for any special treatment, I'm just curious if anyone has had any experience. Only a month ago, people were saying that the M3 would sell at MSRP for at least a year. We now know that not to be the case.
