E92 Steering wheel: design + CF
Hi guys!
Today I'm going to tell you about my steering wheel modification: I had rather cool leather one and it was absolutely cool except it had no carbon fiber I love First and for most, I decided to buy CF insert made in China - it has good quality and looks After half a year I understood, that steering wheel needs some customization - I wanted to cut the bottom chord and laminate with carbonfiber top and bottom sections, so I took off steering wheel and taillights /also for some customization / While having my steering wheel at work I installed another one from 320d Tomorrow I'll share with you the process of work

Here we go:
Placing some special foam to make the wheel thicker and do some work with bottom chord Marking the CF area and placing CF fabric on its place Polyester resin Direction of CF must be the same as on CF insert, test fit Varnished CF Also made "zero point" and varnished again Work left to do is sheathing the wheel lether and install in the car

Thanks, guys!
I do a lot of work with carbon fiber - now I'm working with my Toyota Land Cruiser Prado to make its interior more interesting I can make your steering wheel as you wish, but I'm from Russia, haha So you'll have to send me your steering wheel or pay for result and get the steering wheel you want BTW, here is the interior shot

Glad you like the result, guys!
Obviously, epoxy resin and carbon fiber were used to make such a masterpiece =)
