Your New NETFLIX Obsession: OA (Dec 2016)
So I was reading about this original series on Netflix yesterday and it sounds very interesting! The trailer is somewhat dramatic but critics are saying it is intense and engaging. They have certainly been on a roll lately. Including a new Movie produced by Netflix I watched last night that was very entertaining: Spectral

the girl in this, Brit Marling, she starred and wrote two other movies that are my all time favorites (she wrote OA too). she's incredible and if you think this series looks good, you will LOVE her other movies. one is called "Another Earth" and the other is "The Sound Of My Voice". they will seriously blow you away.

^^^ lmao....I just might do that on recommendation.
I've watched the first two...it take a LONG time for the story to develop. It seems as though they're trying really hard to give depth, and draw out the mystery. Maybe they're avoiding this being a thriller? Becoming a drama? I'm interested to see what happens next, but if the pacing doesn't get better I might drop out. |

I enjoyed the overall story, just was a bit slow for me without a real payoff. Plus some of the FX are laughably bad. But it was worth the watch, I've run out of series' to binge.

Interesting in a good or bad way? I watched the trailer last night and it seemed off or not very telling to me.

It had potential with nice actors. But the storyline fell flat...
Can NOT wait for STRANGER THINGS Chapter 2!!!

It was slow. I kept waiting for something to happen and it never really did. As someone else mentioned you only need to watch the first few episodes and the last episode. I thought the concept/idea of the show was pretty intriguing.

I thought it was great until the last episode. Then it kind of threw up on itself.
