Used CIC coding need help! Ista does not read the car. No bass and no navigation
HI all,
I have a 2009 335i xdrive with logic 7, Idrive, option 609 Navigation system professional and option 677 HiFi system professional. I bought the car with dead CIC, no sound, no chime , nothing on the idrive screen. Then I purchased an used CIC from ebay with matching part number to mine. After installing everything works but there is no bass, and no signal to subwoofers. Idrive works, radio,cd and internal music storage are fine. I also cannot read the car if the CIC is pluged in. I am using Ista D and Ista P but I cannot connect. If I disconnect the CIC I can read the car. I can connect with generic OBD2 reader regardless of CIC plugged or not. I found an used logic 7 amp and connect it hoping that will solve my problem but nothing changed. System works with the same results. I was reading that I may need to use a brand new hard drive in order to have the navigation programmed but I dont know if that will fix my subwoofers and connection to software issues I am not sure if I have a coding problem or I need a fresh CIC? Any help is Greatly appreciated! Thank you and happy holidays! Ves Last edited by radevv; 12-13-2016 at 06:44 PM.. |

Do you have any sound if not?
Is your new CIC coded for Logic 7 would be the first thing I would check. You are probably going to need to use ncsexpert tool32 and Inpa to find out more about the new cic and amp. Bad time to have to download and setup the Inpa edbias ncsexpert suite though. |
