DME pass through connector?
I am not sure if I am posting to the correct forum, so please re-direct me where I need to go. I have posted this in the electronics forum also.
I would consider myself in the idiot range, when measuring my knowledge of electronics, so please respond accordingly. I am looking to make a pass through sub connector for the X60002 sub connector on my DME. I only need to connect three wires. I am attempting to create a easily removable version of Vishnu's o2 sim. First and foremost because I do not want to cut and splice into the wires in the main harness, and because I can't get confirmation of the pins for the o2 sensor signal I need to "manipulate". I have the pinout for my MSV70 from Bentley, so I know which connectors are for the downstream sensors, but not sure which ones are the ones I am looking for. If I can make this, I can try it in all of the possible connectors until I find the correct ones. I have thought about buying a X60002 connector and just using it for the three wires, but if there is a smaller one that would work, I would rather use that. Other than that, I do not know what to ask for. I know I need something I can plug the harness wire into, which will create a connection to another wire that I can plug into the DME connector. I am sure there is a specific name for what I am looking for, but I have no idea what it is. I am extremely challenged when it comes to anything electrical, so this may not even be an option. I don't want to pay $200 for a single pass through if I have an option. Anyone please advise if it is possible, and what I will need. |
