70A charger enough for complete coding

70a is recommended. Most go for inc-700a
I use a 50a Ring power supply: http://www.ringautomotive.com/uk/pro...rgePro/RSCPR50 If you are going with a 'charger' make sure it has a Power supply or Battery Support mode. |

Ok, I'm going to check what options I have in Europe for max 200.
Your Ring Power 50a seems to be a very good option There is this one too http://www.hamradio.co.uk/accessorie...psu-pd-702.php

OP, I code my car all the time and I use a 10amp trickle charger. I have processed the whole car with my KD-can cable without issue many times. I've also used my icom to update MULF, CIC, Media without incident as well. The key is to turn all unnecessary crap off before you code. All windows down, driver door open, daytime running lights off, dome light off, CIC volume all the way down then off. The updates with icom have taken over an hour so I'm not sure what you are doing that has you worried.
