E92 LCI Headlight Pointing Wrong on Automatic (Adaptive)
As the title says, I've got an RHD E92 LCI with adaptive headlights that is pointing in the wrong direction only when the switch is set to Auto. Specifically the driver side (right side) is pointing all the way to the right as if I have my steering wheel turned right. On reverse gear or if switch is set to ON position, the driver headlight will quickly adjust itself into the right pointing direction, so we know the adaptive motor is working fine. And as far my eyes can tell, the passenger side headlight seems to be operating normally. I am afraid if I calibrate the left and right position of the headlight, it would still be an issue when I switch between ON and AUTO. I could only find one other thread with a similar issue, but was an old one so I figure I start a new one.
I thought it was an issue with the headlights so I just had them both replaced at the dealership but yet I'm still having this issue. All the car software was also updated and reflashed when headlights were replaced a few days ago. Has anyone else experienced this and can possibly point me in the right direction please? I am desperate for a solution. On a separate note, after replacement, both brand new headlights are now shaking/wobbling like crazy whenever the road is in the slightest uneven. Is this related or a separate issue? I really really appreciate anyone who could shine some light into this annoying issue with my car. Thank you all. |
