Farthest you've gone in a tank

Decided to not fill up this morning, and go to work instead (100mi round trip). Ended up with my PR of 509miles in a single tank. This was after a 350mi drive from VA, and multiple short runs carrying 300lbs of stuff.

I know I've gone 2*280 (560) miles on a single tank; could have gone another 50-60 miles on it. Think I went 605 miles on a trip couple years ago; I90 from Seattle to Butte.

Just did 165 miles round trip here in Puerto Rico (the island is not as flat as you guys have in the states , there are some hills , downhill's and barely flat areas and heavy traffic) on a quarter of a tank at speeds no lower than 75 mph and a few bursts of 120-130 mph. That's with the AArodriguez EGR race pipe now installed.

The farthest I have been in a tank is 554. That was a trip from Texas to Florida.

606.80 miles here pre-tune from DC to SC down I-95 with 16.184 gallons for 37.49 mpg tank. Without a CBU cleaning.

Still driving this thing without a CBU cleaning, but I'm thinking it will be time soon.

Garage List
27 August 2013, 611.8 miles, 15.29 gallons, 40.013 mpg, 24,954 on the odometer, Woodhull IL to New Springfield, OH. Doubt the old steed would go that far on a tank now at 64,153 miles.

It was about 68F in the morning when I left, reaching the mid-80s during the day, and the day ended in the mid-80s. Woodhull elevation was 810 ft above sea level. The day ended at 1,204 ft elevation. Mostly a flat trip.

Heck, in November of 2013 I got 441.4 miles on a tank that included 1:40 hrs/mins at the Summit Point Raceway track during an HPDE.

With the JBD set at 100%.

Well, you certainly have me there. I'm pretty sure mine would struggle to get under 13 seconds. Having said that I have never recorded a 0-60 or 1/4-mile. I can say that on the Shenandoah Circuit of Summit Point Raceway, being the mediocre track driver that I am, if I came out of turn in front of somebody, M car or otherwise, nobody was going to pass me before the next corner unless I waved them by. Which I always did when possible so I didn't hold them up.

But I certainly enjoy climbing up the grades in the Sierras and similar and leaving others in the rear-view mirror. That I really like. Regardless of the mpg.
