bmw wont start.....

ok so today i went to start my car and it decided not to crank. so immediately i assume its the battery. so i tried jumping it with a battery pack but no crank. so searching this wonderfull forum i see me options. IBS wire , fuse , battery , starter.

so i started with the least expensive procedure. disconnecting the IBS wire. and just like that she started right up. now my question is do i have to replace the wire or can i just leave it unplug with out worrying that i can be left stranded one day??

thanks

Your mileage may vary, but you'll need a good IBS eventually.
