What springs to drop a xi?

Looking for recommendations on what springs to buy to get a moderate drop on xi, shocks are stock and in good conditions, not looking to change them yet

Will Eibach Pro Kit fit xi? Website says they are for 328i, but will they fit xi too? http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/s...al+Valve+Stems

My recollection is that springs are the same for XI and non XI. I could be wrong and others may chime in. If you go with lower and stiffer springs, you may want to consider new shocks as well. Koni and Bilstein are very popular choices..

If doing that work, you may also want to consider front strut mounts ($80 or so) and we'll as rear upper and lower mounts. Dinan($$) and Monroe ($) make good options for rear upper. Plenty of stock or equivalent lower mounts.

Finally, you may want to consider whether any other suspension work is NEEDED now because you'll need to pay for alignment when you finish springs and paying twice if you need more work soon is no fun.

Oh man, you are right, but it looks like a lot of $$$ for all this "just spring change" mod lol. In that case I'll postpone this mod for better times and do it properly as you say with shocks and mounts (as I foresee this easily climbing north of $1000+ even without a labor lol and here I was hoping to buy a $240 spring kit lol)
