BMW Warranty
Right guys i have a 2007 Msport 335i that was purchased last Feb and is currently on 83k. It came with a 6 month warranty that has since lapsed (it was an inchape warranty not BMW) and the more a read the forum the more i see its clear everyone recommends get it warrantied.
So i have had a quote to get a official BMW warranty and it works out £89 PCM.. but i did notice it said no modifications... My car has had a few mods, high kick spoiler, CIC retrofit, LEDs in all the lights (including angel eyes) MHD stage one and will be doing cats and intercooler shortly. anyone with Mods and experience with BMW warranty? what are they like paying out or any recommendations of other companies you have used? |

Generally with the BMW one if the mod relates to the issue they will refuse the work.
If the issue has nothing to do with the mod, it should be fine.

+1 thats what they told me when i recently had some work done under warranty on my 330i. Any part thats modded invalidates that section of the car i.e aftermarket alloys invalidate suspension and brake set up (unless they are approved bmw spec whatever that means lol)

I'd be tempted to say no as they are after the turbos, however they are connected to them and run on the same system so probably

I'd imagine if they wanted to they could put most drivetrain issues on the fact that you have a remap fitted, probably not unreasonably. Can't see any other warranty being much different to be honest.
