19x8.5 ET40 19x9.5 ET45...Spacers?
Hey guys, just bought some wheels, this is my first time putting wheels on my e92 so want to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Specs below 2007 E92 Coupe Wheels: VMR VB3 19x8.5 ET40 VMR VB3 19x9.5 ET45 I am on stock suspension and plan on staying on this for the time being. I was planning on purchasing tires, my research has led me to: 235/35/19 in the front 265/30/19 in the rear what do you guys think for the fitment with those offsets and those tire sizes? Not looking to modify the fenders/roll/pull or anything. It looks like 40/45 is a pretty weak offset for our cars. Will I need spacers to make them fit and are those the correct size tires for a nice setup? Any help is greatly appreciated! Last edited by sykoenigma; 01-12-2017 at 11:25 AM.. |

stock size in the rear for sport package is 18x8.5 with 37 offset.
going to a 9.5 with 45 offset will give you 21mm less on the inside towards the strut, and 5mm more towards the fender. I think you'd definitely need spacers for the rears and the fronts would possibly rub as well. |

Do a 10mm spacer front and rear. You can up the rear to 275/30-19. Then you have my favorite offset and wheel tire combo. No rubbing etc. 19x8.5 et 30 with 235/35-19 and 19x9.5 et35 with 275/30-19. Perfect looks, grip, and fit.
