Windshield washer pump

My wife's 2010 335D has stopped spraying the windshield with washer fluid. You can hear the pump run when you pull the handle but only a tiny bit comes out. I'm assuming it's algae clogging the screen on the pump. Going to just go ahead and replace the whole thing but I can't find part number. I see different things listed different places. Anyone done this and if so what/where did you get your replacement?

Hey, might be worth the pressurized air fix. I did this. Reverse flow and pressure the system to drain it. I then filled with hot water. Ran some and pulled out the rest with an auxiliary pump. Then filled with the Bmw stuff(still find it hilarious they require Bmw washer fluid). Has worked fine since no issues.

Worse case you damage the pump, but you are about to replace it anyway, so give it a shot.

Just an air compressor. You disconnect the fluid line near the passenger side in the engine bay along the fire wall, stick the tip of the air spray slowly onto the tube. You can blow it out the windshield port, or back pressure through the pump. This churns the contents up in the tank. Just open the full spot and fluid will overflow some. Once it's all disturbed, you basically just want to pump it out of the fill spot. A pump, scyphon will work. Then get some water good in hot, poor it in, and repeat until what you pull out is clean.
