Moroso - Vishnu Procede v2.02 vs Dinan Flash

So I went to Moroso last night. The weather was unseasonably cool for South Florida, so I expected to see a bunch of 335's there. There ended up being only 2 others, a sedan and a coupe, both 6mt, one with Dinan flash and one with SSTT.

The night started out about 68 degrees, but with a headwind of at least 20 mph. By the end of the night, 62 degrees, less wind.

Cool. Procede vs SSTT vs Dinan

Actually there was only one heads up run. But, we all did have plenty of runs total. My average mph was about 112, both the Dinan and SSTT were averaging 105mph.

my best ET - 12.562. My best mph - 112.89

On the heads up run, my car vs the Dinan, I spun at the start, giving me my worst 60' and worst ET of the night. Still a nice comparison though.

Here are some of the timeslips. The one on the right is me vs the Dinan car, The one on the left is me vs a modded EVO

Thanks for posting, nice numbers. Being a 6mt, did the Dinan driver miss a shift??
You should have taken his car for a 1/4 mile run.

Wow, it looks like Dinan is not in the same league as these other tunes. That trap is not impressive for 2k at all.

Nice times lastnight and good meeting you. I think I might order the V3 and sell the SSTT after seeing your runs!

I don't think he missed a shift, since his MPH was pretty constant throughout the night. I think it was a pretty fair comparo. Moroso is a notoriously slow track.....

What octane fuel were you running? What was your maximum boost? I'm thinking that given the same boost, most tunes will run about the same times on high octane.

Just the second time we have seen numbers in the 1/4 mile for the Dinan flash. The other was a 12.9.

I don't think you should take one guy's runs one night and then decide that the specific time is representative of all cars with the flash. I'm sure we will see much better times for the flash as time goes on, and I am sure we will still see 13's. Just like with all the other tunes.

May be true. However this is a same track, same night, heads up comparo. Some may take it as a pretty good way to compare the tunes.

Well, the same night that funkdoc ran his car, a v2 Procede ran a 13.3-4, but that doesn't mean I took that as the end-all comparison between the tunes. So many variables. But no doubt the info. is useful.

I was concentrating more on your outstanding numbers, anyway.

these are gonna be guesses and i would like to be corrected

Dinan and SSTT cars were both manual tranny, you were AT.
you used mix 100 octane gas? PROcede takes advantage of this by upping the %(90,95,100) more so then the Dinan and the SSTT were the ECU just uses it for a couple more HP.

what are the tires and wheels used?

If I recall reading correctly, the v2 driver only got in 1 run, ran 91oct (not 100oct like funkdoc) and had 300lbs of junk in his car So I'm not sure how fair of a comparison it is. FWIW, I've run 112mph traps at that same track back when I only had a catback and ran v2.0.2. Also on 100oct so I think that is more of a apples to apples comparo.

Back to this thread:
Good show sleepdoc! Nice do see you guys doing well down there in Florida. I think sflgator ran traps that were pretty close to yours (111.x?) with his v2 a few months ago with his 6AT and 93oct. Excellent work. Moroso is no joke from what I hear. I think you will really like v3. It's got a few features that should help you (and me for that matter) get those 60' times down

Cheers,
shiv

if you used drag radials and light wheels, you would hit 12.2 range!!
