Software set up for coding

So I have download multiple versions of BMW scan tools and NCS expert but every time I try to install the software for one or the other I keep getting messages that it's not supported or I have to use a differnt software. Currently have windows 8.1 and was under the impression the NCS expert 4.0.1 should work.

Does anyone have a good link to the software?

Would anyone be willing to set it up via remote for me?

Keep going in circles on differnt forums and it's aggravating. Just trying to turn on satellite radio, angle eyes for drls, and close windows with lock on the fob.

Run ST 2.12 installer in compatibility mode for Windows 7. Should only need to do that for W10 though

That worked and its installed, all german, and not seeing any profiles or anything like that

Windows 8.1 and 10 require compatibility mode. Anything Windows 7 or older does not.

I've installed on W8.1 before and did not have to use compatibility mode. Maybe new update requires it
