JBx or active processor

Whats your thoughts on which is a more powerful tune. Ive been thinking of getting the aa processor but Im wondering if the jbx will be stronger when set on the 2 hpill mode. any opinions would be appreciated.

It all depends on what you want. The processor will be a set map and not be anything higher then 13psi or so. With the JB2X you can go up to ~15psi, maybe a little higher....(with the right octane of course)

Dont forget, you probably wont be able to set jbx at 100% in the summer unless you're running high octane, while the active will run fine on 91 or 93

JBX...

Need more power? Turn the dial. Need to race? Add 100 octane. Wanna add DPs? Use O2 simms. And, if I get a code, I know why. Too much boost dialed up for the gas I have. Done. End of story.

- AA Active Processor: use it when you want a no brainer, drop it into the ECU box and forget about it ( until AA will release new maps )
- JBX: use it when you like to experiment with different settings which are depending on your car's configuration, the quality ( octane ) of the gas and ambient temperatures

Technically the AA Active Processor controls fuel, timing and boost. The JBX controls fuel and boost and can make more power, especially with high octane gas settings.

Is it really gonna make more power on 91 or 93 octane though?..now that its getting hotter people are getting limps at more than 1 h-pill(about 12-12.5 psi) while the aa can run on 91 at 13-14 psi with no codes/limps.

If power what you need? You need some Hot Pills... Still holds the best record in 1/4 mile.

You cannot beat AA's reliability. UED has had it on theyre project car for over 8k miles with no problems. The power is great and you cannot beat the valet switch.

AA is known for years (30+) for tuning BMWs.

They don't push the block, but as you can see they go for a more realible tune, that gives you extra boost, and faster launch.
