Yesterday morning I was waiting till next year to order the car but 36 hours later my new 335i was ordered.

Some very drastic life event forced me to order it now. Fuck off Army is all I will say.

Should be a week 23 build as I have to leave Germany around week 25. Paid $45k for it @ 4.14% interest. I thought I would feel hyped about doing this as it my first new car and first loan but because of the shit that I am going thru courtesy of my branch manger I don’t feel anything. I bet that will change when I pick up my car.

I am heading to Ft Polk LA so any of you that are near them let me know, I will need new friends :/

Nah I am in Darmstadt right now. I was in Bitburg though last year at the FIA WRC Rally.

I dont know if I will be able to post pics once I pick her up since my comp and rest of everything I own will be on its way to Ft Polk.

I dont know crap about Polk but at least I can work on my other car while I am there. German machine shops bankrupt me.

Yup, FTA. At least you're getting a little something to lessen the sting of the Green Weenie. One good thing about Ft. Polk: it's in the middle of nowhere, so you should be able to find some back roads to flex the car's legs. Also, the drive to New Orleans won't be that bad (or long) in the 335.

What great news - The BMW dealer here in Darmstadt told me that I cant get my car built during week 23 and that I will have to wait till July. I cant do that so they are talking to some other dealers to see if they can get one of thier chassis slots.

If they cant meet the terms that we discussed they will cancel my order and I will get a full refund. I can drive 50 miles to another dealer who had a slot for week 23 but I didnt feel like driving that much in Traffic last weeks.
